I started a food truck with a friend of mine in Ohio. It's called Kinetic.
Kinetic makes something we call "performance food" – wraps, bowls, smoothies and other tasty treats designed to fuel your body better. I parted ways with the company after 3 years before starting my graduate degree at VCU Brandcenter.
I still love this idea and the people running it. I hope it becomes a brick and mortar restaurant one day so I can have this healthy goodness again.
My favorite was the West Coast: grilled chicken, fresh avocado, black beans, seasoned corn, perfect quinoa (keen-wah) and a cilantro-lime vinaigrette.
Our Kinetic shirts still make great workout tees.
We taught cooking classes through our local recreation center to continue our mission of bringing healthy cooking to people. Not pictured, we also taught classes on how to start a food truck. Helping people start a food truck business was a simple way to pay it forward.
